Jimi Hendrix' Gibson Flying V.
Serial Number: 932954. Year of Manufacture: 1969.
Background: Although Hendrix was originally thought to have owned only two
"Flying V" model guitars the existence of this (his second) was only confirmed in
1992 with the publication of a backstage phot of Jimi playing the guitar at New York's
Madison Square Gardens.
Hendrix used this guitar between January 1969 (whenhe gave Mick Cox his famous
psychedelic V) and May 1970 ( when he bought his custom left-handed model).
