LITTLE WALTER.

Born Marion Walter Jacobs 1st May 1930 in Marksville, Louisiana. Died of a blood clot, 15th February 1968 in Chicago.
Harmonica.
Ran away from home at he age of twelve to New Orleans he took four years to work his way north to Chicago where he soon took to the club circuit. He recorded for Ora Nelle Records before joining Muddy Waters band in 1950. Over the next ten years with Muddy Waters he single-handedly defined the place of harmonica in an electric blues band.
