Once rated as highly as Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs to the new generation of folk fans that blossomed in the sixties. This even saw him guest at the 1969 Isle Of Wight Festival. After the festival he stayed in England where he worked with many stalwarts of the local folk scene.
His work has often been politically challenging and sometimes acheingly romantic but he should be banished to outerdarkness for having written "Going To The Zoo".
