Rockmine: Archive

The Video Archive

This is not my complete video collection. I still have more than 8,300 pieces of video to catalogue and 1,000+ hours of video transfers to edit. The task isn't made easier by the fact that every day I accumulate more from around the world.

If any collectors are interested in trading digital copies of any music related video, please mail: info@rockmine.com.

Cinema Films With Music Stars & Cameos

A Hard Day's Night, Carny, Head, Help!, Renaldo & Clara, Spice World, The Ernie Game, The Girl On A Motorcycle, The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag. From critically acclaimed masterpieces to lambasted vanity projects, there's so much here.

Music Documentaries & Concert Films

Classic concert films plus in-depth warts and all documentaries on everyone from the obscure to the mega-stars. Charlie Is My Darling (original print), Cocksucker Blues, Eat The Document (with outtakes), Night Lunch; they're all here - as are hundreds more.

Music Television Shows

Beat Club, Disco, Old Grey Whistle Test, Rockpalast, Soul Train, Taratata, Top Of The Pops and many, many more of TV's iconic music shows are all here. Talking of Top Of The Pops, 2,274 editions were broadcast. Only 1,766 are known to still exist and Rockmine has 1,685 of them, straight from the masters.

Miscellany

DVDs & Laserdiscs, Newsreels, Oxford University Union Addresses, Press Conferences, Stars Sex Tapes, TV Commercials - All the stuff that doesn't fit neatly elsewhere.

Private (Bootleg) Concert Films & Videos

Rare 8mm footage to multiple camera digital videos filmed by fans; in-house venue videos to complete tours recorded by fans.

Promotional Videos

You want to know how many I have in stock? Please don't bother asking. Suffice to say, I started with Scopitones from the late 1950s and haven't stopped!

TV Shows With Music Stars & Cameos

So, where do you find Carlos Alomar singing and Joan Baez using her voice to educate? What seminal TV series gave us a Kink as "The Long Distance Piano Player" or The Cuban Heels as the pub band while Frankie Miller stars? From walk-on (blink and you'll miss them moments) to starring roles, they're all here.
