Despite Rockmine being a commercial archive, it was also my collection. Yes, there are more than 10,000 music papers and magazines but it also consisted of everything I'd picked up since the seventies as a collector, fan and professional working in and around rock music. For longer than I care to consider, Rockmine was my life. Hell, my friends didn't even call me by my name, they called me Rockmine!

Back in the 1990s, there were plans to turn Rockmine into a visitor centre and worldwide resource. I think you can consider the Rock Mall to be the shop in the same way that a museum or gallery shop lets you take home some of what you've seen during your visit.
